A STUDY IN SURRENDER, STRENGTH & NEW BEGINNINGS

A WOMEN'S RESET THROUGH NEHEMIAH

What do we do when the walls of our lives don't look the way we thought they would?

A Bible study about surrender, rebuilding, and learning to depend completely on the Lord.

A STUDY FOR REAL LIFE

For women in a
season of rebuilding.

Strengthen Her Hands is a women's Bible study and workbook through the book of Nehemiah for the woman who feels the weight of what God has called her to build.

PERHAPS YOU ARE BUILDING

Nehemiah saw broken walls and burned gates.

He wept.
He prayed.
He sought the Lord.

And then, strengthened by God, he began the work.

THE HEART BEHIND THIS STUDY

I never thought
I would write this.

Years ago, in a season when I felt lost, emotionally reactive, controlling, overwhelmed and deeply aware of my own weakness, I felt the Lord impress upon my heart that I would speak to women one day.

“Yeah right. Not me.”

I loved the Lord. I went to Bible studies. I was raising and homeschooling my children. And yet there were places in my heart, my marriage and my life that desperately needed rebuilding.

I didn't know then how faithfully God would use the years ahead to teach me about surrender, marriage, motherhood, loss, disappointment, obedience, perseverance and complete dependence upon Him.

Strengthen Her Hands comes from those years.

I don't share my story because I have arrived.
I share it because I have seen the faithfulness of God.

“So they strengthened their hands
for this good work.”

COME ALONGSIDE

You don't have to
rebuild alone.

Strengthen Her Hands is still being written.

I'm walking verse by verse through Nehemiah and writing honestly about what God has taught me through motherhood, marriage, homeschooling, loss, surrender, calling and the seasons when life needed rebuilding.

If you'd like to walk alongside me as this study takes shape, I'd love to have you here.
